The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has specified that travelers must receive the immunizations 10 days before the Hajj season.
Vaccinations are required in order for them to conduct the Hajj ceremonies.
This occurred while the Ministry was responding to a person on its official Twitter account. The individual had enquired if taking the third COVID-19 dosage is a requirement for performing the Hajj.
The Ministry underlined that completion of all immunizations is required before issuing the Hajj permit.
According to the Ministry, the issue of Hajj permits for the year 1444 AH will begin on Shawwal 15, which corresponds to May 5.
The Ministry has set the 10th of Shawwal as the deadline for domestic pilgrims to pay the third and final installment of their Hajj reservation.
The last installment is 40% of the costs stipulated for the packages accepted for this Hajj season.
The Ministry launched registrations for the Hajj 1444 AH on April 3 for pilgrims who had previously done the rites 5 years or more ago, using the Nusuk app and its official website.
Pilgrims who have never done the Hajj rites before will be eligible to apply until Dhu Al-Hijjah 7, which corresponds to June 25.
