Eligible Occupations
Expats from all occupations, including workers and house drivers, can now apply for a Saudi family visit visa. To apply, you must have a valid Iqama with a minimum validity of three months, applicant passport details, and Nafath registration.
Steps to Apply
To apply for a family visit visa in Saudi Arabia, follow these steps:

Step 2: Fill out the Form
Step 3: Employer Approval through the Chamber of Commerce (COC) online
Step 4: Send the approved Visa for Stamping in your Home Country.

Step 1: Go to MOFA Website
Go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) website https://visa.mofa.gov.sa/Home/Index.
Choose "Services for Citizens and Residents" from the Home Screen.
Select "Resident" and then click the "Apply" button on the "Family Visit Visa Application for Residents" page.
Sign in using your Nafath account.
Step 2: Fill out the Application Form
Follow these steps to complete the online visa application form for a family visit visa in Saudi Arabia:
The system will automatically retrieve your Personal & Company Information on the first page of the application. You must input the following information:
Saudi Visa Number ( enter the visa number as written on your work visa stamped on your passport upon entry into Saudi Arabia)
Select the "Add" option, a pop will open to enter your family member's details as follows:

Visa Information
Coming Place (Select the City that has the Saudi Consulate or Embassy.. For example: for India, it is either Mumbai or New Delhi.) Do not confuse this with your departure city. Your departure can be from any city in any country.
Number of Entries:
Single Entry Visit Visa - (valid for 90 days with two possible 90-day extensions, for a total of 270 days)
Multiple-entry Visit Visa - (valid for 90 days, with a 30-day extension allowed through a Tawasul request)
Select the "Add" option again if you are inviting more than one family member.
Agreement Approval
Check the Agreement approval and click Save
Once you have completed the form, the MOFA website will provide you with a reference number. Keep this number since you will need it to verify the status of your visa later. You must also print the form for further processing.
Step 3: Employer Approval through the Chamber of Commerce (COC) online
After completing the application, take a print-out or a pdf and send it to your employer, you must have your employer sign and stamp it and attest it online through the Chamber of Commerce.
You will be able to check the status of COC through Reference Number
Step 4: Send the approved Visa for Stamping in your Home Country.
Once your visa has been approved(max 3-4 days), you will need to submit it to the Saudi Embassy or Consulate in your home country for processing.
You can do this by contacting an agent in your city or through VFS.
