Firstly, you need to get your newborn baby to Saudi Arabia and then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Paying the Fees
Dependent Fees - to be paid online.
Step 2: Upload the Documents on Absher Tawasul service
Documents Required:
Baby's Birth Certificate.
Baby's Passport.
Medical Insurance.
Payment of Dependent Fees.
Baby's Photograph.
Father's Passport Photocopy.
Mother's Passport Photocopy.
Father's Iqama Photocopy.
Mother's Iqama Photocopy.
First, gather all the documents listed above. Then, put them in the same order as mentioned above. Finally, convert them into a PDF file.
Note: One PDF for each dependent. Use an online compressor on Google to compress the document to less than 1MB
Login to your Absher Account
Click on the “Services” tab under “My Services”
Select the “Passports” Option
Click on “Tawasul”
On the next page, click on “New Request”
On the next page select the following:
Sector - select: خدمات للمقيمين داخل المملكة
Service: If the child is born outside Saudi Arabia select: اضافة. فصل تابع
Request Description: Write the baby's border no. here"
Attachment: Attach the PDF you have created above.
Note:
You can only upload one form at a time. If you have twins or more, you need to do the same steps for each child separately.
You'll get a text message after you submit the form with a confirmation number.
After it's checked and approved, you'll get another text message.
Then, log in again to Tawasul Services and print the approval confirmation.
Step 3: Appointment with Jawazat Office for Iqama Collection
After you get approval for all your family members, go to the Jawazat office to make an appointment. There, you can pick up all the Iqama cards for your family members at the same time.
Documents Required:
Appointment Letter
Tawasul Approval Letters
Printout of the above PDF
Original Passports of the dependents
Pictures of the Dependents
Appointment with Jawazat Office:
Login to Absher Account
Scroll down and click on “Appointments”
Select the “Passport” Option
Click on the “Proceed to Service” button
Click “Book New Appointment”
Select “Resident Services”
Region: Select the Region
Select the Jawazat Office you want to visit
Select the date and time of the appointment
Click the “Confirm Appointment Details” button
Take the printout of the Appointment Slip
Step 4: Iqama Collection:
When you have your appointment, make sure to arrive at the Jawazat office on time (it's good to be a little early, like 10-15 minutes).
Bring all the papers mentioned earlier. You'll get the ID cards for your family there, and it usually doesn't take long maybe 15-20 minutes.
Check all the information on the Iqama cards, and congratulations!
